Do I need to apply at the embassy in person?

Yes — Indian applicants must submit biometrics at the Israeli Visa Application Centre (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore). We coach you on documents and book the appointment.

Will an Israel stamp affect future Arab visas?

Israel issues a separate paper entry slip and doesn't stamp passports anymore — useful if you plan to visit countries that historically rejected stamped passports. Lebanon, Iran and a few others still won't admit you if they see Israeli entry/exit stamps from your overland border crossings.
